My cute room part 1.

I do a lot of blog surfing. I like to see what there is out there, and pre pinterest I bookmarked them for further perusal and/or creating.
When I saw these:

I decided that I loved them and wanted to make some for me.
A trip to the dollar store for q-tips and styrofoam balls later, and some color inspiration from my shower curtain:

Brought the following results:

Cute, huh? And they're WAY easy, food coloring + water + q-tips = cute easy cheap 'flowers'

The Goddesses

Emily: My goal in life for as long as I can remember was to be a domestic goddess. I think I have arrived. I owe almost all of my domestic skills to my mother who taught me to cook, embroider, and sew. She trusted me in her kitchen and with her sewing machine and led by example. Rachel and I had fantastic domestic adventures when we were neighbors, and now, even 4+ years later, we're still at it!

Rachel: I didn't know what I wanted to be in life until I met Emily. We were neighbors and pretend roomies, and I knew it was meant to be. She put a name to the things I was already awesome at! I have always loved to cook, bake, sew, and scrapbook. I'm always up for trying new things and perfecting my skills.
